Grandpa Gary, Grandma Pat and Uncle Greg enjoyed the moments of Christmas Day with us....making new memories and moments for years to come! The evening will be remembered for the simple moments....
the quiet soft candle-lit dinner (Maya was sleeping!)
sipping wine that we bought when we were in Italy earlier this year
homemade stuffing (I decided that a 33 year old should not be making 99 cent stovetop on Christmas Day!)
clinking our glasses and toasting the past year and moments in the year ahead
seeing the little white icicle lights around or deck....with absolutely not a drop of snow
connecting during this meaningful time of year.
The Cosgrove family LOVES presents. From the first Christmas I joined their family, I was overwhelmed with the sight of presents after presents....after presents. They don't just like Christmas gifts...they LOVE Christmas gifts!! Every year, the tree gets lost among the sea of gifts. Maya is going to love seeing her pile with "Maya" in the "To:" spot for years to come!
At the end of all the Christmas festivities, we enjoyed a moment to connect, relax and reflect on the joy of the season....and realized that even with growing to a whole 22 inches, its pretty small in comparison to 6 feet tall!!
